Abstract
With the development of Grems studies. Landofsky introduces the semantic system approach. which investigates the process of meaning production in narrative texts based on semantic systems by examining the active event and the action of discourse subjects and the element of interaction. He believes that the production of meaning is due to the action of persuasion. induction and encouragement. adaptation and coincidence. which changes with the centrality of the action in the narrative and causes the formation of semantic layers. The current research is based on the theory of Landofsky's semantic system. The findings of the research showed that the story started with a tense atmosphere in which the static presence of the oppressed and the lack of effort to confront Rabib. who has taken over his house as a symbol of the Zionist regime. is depicted. The liberation of the oppressed house as a symbol of the land of Palestine is a valuable object and the final goal of Gharib. which is planned to be achieved by persuasion by Gharib. After passing through the challenges of persuasion. Gharib finally succeeds in convincing Makhoor to take action and drive Rabib out. reach the sun. and break the fence built by Rabib and his supporters. In the end. the oppressed becomes an active subject with a positive orientation. and the beginning of the action process on his part and the attempt to expel Rabib indicates the formation of the semantic system of adaptation in the mentioned story. Finally. by proving the phenomenological presence of the oppressed. the liberation of Palestine as a valuable object and the expulsion of Rabib will be realized.
