Authors Guide

Dear author (s) When submitting an article, for arbitration purposes, complete the letter of commitment form and conflict of interest form in the publication system. Click on any of the following files to download them. It should be noted that the follow-up process of the article will not be affected without considering any of the following.

How to submit an article

The author in charge of the article, after registering on the publication site, must enter the article submission section and all Carefully complete the requested information. (Review of the article after judging and paying the printing fee is possible only from the card of the author in charge of the article)

Procedure for compiling and submitting articles to the Journal of Arabic Language and

Literature, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad

 

 

 1- The article is in Persian or Arabic, has not been previously published in magazines and has not been sent to other magazines at the same time.

 

2- Acceptance of the article is subject to judging, acceptance of judges and approval of the editorial board.

 

3- The submitted articles will be searched in the same system after registration and before sending to the first referee.

 

4. The responsibility for the accuracy of the contents of the article lies with the author or authors.

 

5. The journal is basically free to edit articles.

 

6- Only articles that are prepared according to the writing guide, with the original file of the article, authors 'details, authors' commitment form and conflict of interest will be sent to the judging process.

 

7-. Details of the author or authors (name and surname, academic degree, name of university or institution of employment, contact number and e-mail address) should be written in three languages: Persian, English and Arabic on a separate page and the responsible author should be marked with an asterisk.

8-he number of words allowed for articles submitted to the Journal of Arabic Language and Literature should be between 6000 to 8000

 9- The number of words allowed for Persian abstract should be between 250 and 300 words

 9. The original text of the article should be without the names of the authors.

10The final sources of the article should be translated into English

11. The orchid ID of the authors should be mentioned

12.doi referenced articles should be added in final sources

A: References to sources should be set in the text and as follows:

(Author surname, year of publication: page number)

Note 1: Immediately refer to the previous source as (same, page number)

Note 2: If the book is more than one volume, it should be mentioned after the year and before the page number of the volume; Like (Al-Khafaji, 2012, J 2:50)

Note 3: If the surnames of the two authors and the year of publication of the two sources are the same, in addition to the surnames, the names of the authors should also be mentioned;

 Note 4: If two sources with the same year of publication are used by the same author, the two sources should be separated by letters; Such as (Shafiee Kadkani, 1389 Sh. A: 59) and (Shafiee Kadkani, 1389 Sh. B: 240)

Note 5:Please note the English names in the text before the bibliography as footnotes 

B: How to write resource specifications in the journal

The titles of the books should be written in bold and the titles of the journals in Italic and the titles of the articles should be enclosed in quotation marks.

2. For the book: surname, name (author / authors). (Print date in parentheses). Book Name. Name of translator or proofreader. Date of publication (second onwards) Place of publication: Publisher name.

 3- For the article in the magazines: surname, name (author / authors). (Release date in parentheses). "Title of the article in quotation marks". Name of the magazine. Volume and issue of the magazine. Start and end page of the article.

 4- For the article in the collection of articles or encyclopedias: surname, name (author / authors) (date of publication). "Title of the article in quotation marks". Title of the book. Name of collector or editor. Place of publication: Publisher name. Start and end page of the article.

 5- Internet systems: surname, author's name (date inserted at the beginning of the article or date of view). "Title of the subject or article in quotation marks". Name and address of the website.

 *It is necessary to mention the articles after the books.

 Note 7: Articles extracted from the dissertation or articles submitted in collaboration with the faculty members of universities should:

 A) Be accompanied by a letter of approval from the supervisor or fellow faculty member

. B) The name of the professor / supervisors or colleague / colleagues of the faculty member should be inserted after the name of the author in charge of the article and in accordance with the regulations of the university or the relevant organization. The authors of the article should not be more than three authors.

The authors of the articles should edit their work based on the writing, marking,  citation of the articles published in the latest issue of the journal before submitting.

Acknowledgement: The author should indicate explicitly all sources that have supported the research. Authors should ensure that they have properly acknowledged the work of others, and should also cite publications that have been influential in determining the nature of the reported work. Information obtained privately (from conversation, correspondence or discussion with third parties) must not be used or reported without explicit, written permission from the source. Authors should not use information obtained in the course of providing confidential services, such as refereeing manuscripts or grant applications, unless they have obtained the explicit written permission of the author(s) of the work involved in these services.

4: The cost of publishing an article in a journal

here is no pre-publication or submission charge. If the manuscript is accepted for publication, authors are required to pay 4,000,000 Rials for the costs arising from for peer review management and journal publication.
