Abstract Palestinian poetry serves as a vital cultural instrument that has significantly contributed to the preservation of national identity and the articulation of collective consciousness amid the political and social challenges confronting Palestine. This study examines a contemporary poetic work titled ‘Jerusalem, Capital of Heaven, Jerusalem, Capital of Roots’, authored by the poet Izz al-Din al-Manasirah, with an emphasis on the semantic and linguistic dimensions that embody the elements of Palestinian identity and expressions of resilience. The research posits that poetic texts transcend mere aesthetic considerations to function as vehicles for cultural and political discourse, reflecting social practices and the collective Palestinian psyche. Employing an analytical framework that integrates literary theory with textual analysis, this study draws upon the principles of critical discourse analysis as articulated by Teun A. Van Dijk to investigate the linguistic representation of identity and resistance within al-Manasirah’s poem. The significance of this research lies in its capacity to establish connections between the poem's textual structures and its historical and political contexts, thereby elucidating the mechanisms through which the poet conveys messages of resilience and defiance. The analysis demonstrates that the text employs a variety of linguistic structures and interconnected semantic layers, enhancing the portrayal of Jerusalem and Palestinian identity as pivotal symbols. Furthermore, it underscores the role of poetry in shaping a collective consciousness that mirrors the cultural, social, and political values inherent in Palestinian society. This research aims to explore how resistance poetry aids in the preservation of identity and fosters cultural communication, while also illuminating the literary strategies that render poetic texts a platform for expressing belonging and steadfastness in the face of multifaceted challenges.

Abstract Phonology is one of the indispensable sciences of Arabic, and scholars and hadith scholars have written about it, even if it did not appear as an independent science like the rest of the language sciences, but we find it a lot in language books, and as it is known, the phonetic laws are fixed in language books that show us how to interact The sounds are among themselves, and if we look at this phenomenon, we will find a phonetic explanation for it in the occurrence of this change that has been subject to the nature of the formation of the exits and the characteristics that are achieved for these sounds, and the purpose of this research is to show the importance of phonetics and then phonetic coherence as a branch of it in obtaining more On textual coherence, as for the importance of this phenomenon and the lack of a well-studied study on this topic before the present research, it is one of the factors that necessitate the completion of this research. The research is conducted on the analytical method. And the results resulting from the research indicate that vocal coherence is an action that helps to avoid the causes that lead to lisping, such as confusion and indoctrination. From this standpoint, it greatly affects text coherence.

The method of arranging Arabic sounds according to the syllables is purely Arabic. In light of it, the Arabic phonetic alphabet was developed, to be one of the global phonetic alphabets, which speakers of human languages are proud of, because the placement of the alphabet for any language is not an easy or formal matter, for it is,

Abstract Decentralization is a kind of mental ability that makes the child's mind free from paying attention to a certain phenomenon and settles on another phenomenon. This structure, which is an important pillar of children's literature, plays an important role in the cognitive development and flourishing of children's minds. Therefore, it lays the foundation for creative thinking and is the basis for the formation of children's identity and personality. The present study examines the techniques of decentralization in the collection "Yuhka anna" written by Amal Nasser, a young contemporary Lebanese writer and storyteller. This collection of stories includes thirteen short and educational stories for children and targets their mental realm with a childish expression. Throughout the stories in this collection, Amal Nasser, with her constant inventiveness, makes each new concept simple and understandable to the child through the use of metaphors. The aim of this qualitative research is to find the decentralizing deep structures used in this story collection and to identify the author's purpose in employing decentralizing techniques and the innovations that she displays in the stories with the help of these techniques. We have used an interpretive-abstract approach to answer the questions. The findings of this research show that Amal Nasser always uses decentralization techniques creatively. Sometimes, by using these decentralization techniques, she simplifies a complex concept to the level of children's understanding, and sometimes, by using these techniques, she makes children creative, searching and questioning. To achieve these goals, the author conveys the realities we face in society to the young reader through symbolic language. Also, this research showed that most of these techniques cause decentralization of the audience with some kind of movement in the narrative process, and the metamorphosis technique is one of the techniques that is most used in this collection of stories and causes

Abstract In the modern era, the concept of alienation has dominated people's lives in all its forms, and loneliness and isolation have ravaged the human being to the point that they have become considered among the challenges of our conflicting world. Alienation is a complex social concept that explores the separation between individuals and society. This isolation has appeared in the rhymes and meters of poets, as literature has formed a space that reflects alienation with its multiple mechanisms and consistent images because it is the offspring of society and its clear mirror; Anthony Davids, US sociologist and academic; one of the prominent scholars in this field, He conducted a field study at Harvard University on the concept of alienation and its various dimensions, and Davids focused most of his attention on the societal structures that play an important role in alienation. Hence, the research attempts to study alienation in the poetry of Ghazi Al-Gosaibi, using Anthony Davids' approach and the descriptive-analytical method. The research concluded that all five axes of Anthony Davids' approach were present in Ghazi Al-Gosaibi's poetry in varying proportions. He employs ambiguous language that appears to indicate a lack of desire and fulfillment, as if his self is moving from a stage of stability to one of fragmentation, and he has become detached from the culture of society. In his poems, Al-Qusaibi addresses the subject of anxiety from a personal perspective, presenting his personal experiences and inner feelings in an honest and profound manner. Discontent is recurring, along with questions of personal and collective identity, which is evidence of the cultural, political, and social marginalization that fractured and oppressed the poet's self.

Abstract The Fadakieh Sermon is considered one of the most important ammunitions of the heritage of Ahl al-Bayt (p) in the Islamic era, in which Fatima al-Zahra defended her rights. This interceptive sermon may have involved inherent issues such as defending the Imamate, the Prophet's legacy, and the priority of the people of the house (p). It can be said that this sermon is a historical legend that reveals the extent of the injustice of the house (p), especially the Zahra (s), and its usurped rights due to the denial of the heritage of Fadak. In this sermon, al-Zahraa demonstrated the pillars of authentic Muhammadic Islam, which was presented by her father, the master of the messengers. The letter (Q) attempted to form the structure and frame of her sermon to benefit from the smallest rhythmic, semantic and syntactic elements, and to accurately enrich the meanings of the text and to express the feelings of sadness and tragedy that occurred in her chest after the death of her father in those tragic situations. The article deals with the methodological study of the famous Fadakieh Sermon in order to reveal its structural structure and features of its artistic aesthetics. The research methodology is descriptive and analytical approach based on the study of the text of the sermon and the extraction of its secrets and aesthetics, based on the nature of the text in terms of its composition and its technical and stylistic potential. Therefore, the article aims to study the idea of Zahra (Q) about this sermon and its technical and methodological features as it reveals to us the rights of the raped daughter of the Prophet in those first hours of the journey of her father Al-Mustafih (p) where the wound has not yet healed.

Abstract The political media discourse of Al-Alam News Channel is a form of media discourse characterized by multiple semantic and ideological dimensions, especially when examined through Van Dijk’s socio-cognitive theory, one of the major approaches in critical discourse analysis. This study views media discourse not merely as a tool for transmitting news and information, but as an active communicative practice that influences audience attention, shapes interpretations of political events, and constructs perceptions of issues, individuals, and political actors. The study analyzes Al-Alam’s political news discourse through Van Dijk’s “ideological square” model, with emphasis on the role of linguistic techniques in meaning production and in constructing representations of the “Self” and the “Other” within media texts. It is based on the assumption that media discourse is not neutral; rather, it functions as an ideological practice through four main strategies: emphasizing the positive aspects of the Self, highlighting the negative aspects of the Other, minimizing the negative aspects of the Self, and downplaying the positive aspects of the Other.Using a descriptive-analytical approach, the research examines a purposive sample of political news reports broadcast by Al-Alam Channel from January to November 2024. The findings show that the channel employs various linguistic strategies, including nominal sentences, emphasis and negation devices, syntactic ordering, figurative language, and present-tense verbs, to construct an ideologically oriented discourse that reinforces the opposition between “We” and “They.”The study concludes that Al-Alam’s news discourse contributes to reconstructing political reality within a directed interpretive framework. Language is used not only for conveying information but also as a means of persuasion, influence, and meaning construction, revealing the systematic role of ideological strategies in shaping media discourse and guiding audience perception.
